At one time
Sports all over the WORLD experienced failures in TIME keeping!
THE
PRECISION TIME SYSTEMS, Inc.®, now has the
SOLUTION!
What is The Precision
Time System?
Its a small computer
that is connected to the arena or stadium game clock, that allows the on court
or on field Officials to start or stop the game clock. This is done at the
speed of light (186,000 miles per second). The Officials whistle stops the
clock, and the switch on the belt pack starts the clock.
What happens
without the Precision Time System?
The Official blows
the whistle, the Clock Operator then pushes a button to stop the clock. Also if
the game Clock Operator can not see the game Official signal to start the Game
Clock it does not get started at the proper time.
We are pleased to introduce our newest patented product -
Precision Time Systems Event Tracker (ET).
This is an optional accessory
for the Precision Time 450 or 550 systems. When connected to the PTS base
station, the ET provides a means to capture and time stamp all the clock
related events during a game. The super bright Organic Light Emitting Diodes
(OLED) display shows the last four clock events and a scroll feature allows
review of all previous clock events.
Each time an official or
timekeeper initiates a clock stop or start event, the ET identifies the source
and time of the event. The time and source of the clock event is stored on the
supplied USB drive. After the game, the USB drive can then be inserted into a
PC and the game event file can be retrieved for game event analysis, training
and distribution.
The use of the ET
takes the guesswork out of determining the source of clock starts and stops. We
are now able to determine immediately if the event is the result of equipment
malfunction or human error.
The tracker also has
an audible and visual alarm to notify the timekeeper that the clock has
stopped. The OLED screen flashes the word "STOP" three times in addition to
three audible beeps to signify that the clock has stopped.
The tracker retails
for $ 525.00 plus shipping. This includes cables, USB key, power supply and
owners manual.

.DON'T PLAY ANOTHER GAME WITHOUT
THE TRACKER!
How The Systems Works!
The Precision Time Systems works via a radio
transmitter in the belt pack worn by the officials. Attached to the belt pack
is an omni directional microphone which docks in the microphone adapter on the
lanyard just below the whistle. When an official blows the whistle, the belt
pack recognizes the frequency of the FOX 40 whistle and sends a radio signal to
the base station receiver that is connected to the scoreboard controller,
stopping the clock at the speed of light. The Precision Time System not only
stops the clock, it gives the official timer the ability to restart the clock,
as well as each official. Each belt pack has a restart button, so the clock can
be started from the floor, if necessary.
